This Digittrade HS256S3 is the predecessor to the Kobra VS. Just like the Kobra VS, this received German BSI certification (BSI-DSZ-CC-0825-2017). However, after the Kobra VS was released, this model was never recertified, resulting in the certification expiring. It has several limitations you don’t see in the Kobra VS, such as only two smart cards and no management software. Price is the only thing this model has over the newer model.
